Support Worker: zero hour contract

What’s in it for you…


  • You’ll start on at least £11.90

  • Double time on all Bank Holidays

  • We will pay you 30p per mile for all your travel

  • You will also be paid you in full for the time it takes to travel between appointments (travel time)

  • Paid for any gaps you have between appointments (waiting time)

  • You will be supported into your new role with at least two weeks, fully paid, training

  • You’ll get 28 days paid holiday

  • We will pay into a pension for you

  • We will pay for your DBS check and give you all your uniform and necessary PPE equipment completely free of charge

  • 24/7 carer helpline

Requirements

Experience welcome, but not a necessity as full training will be given

Valid driving license and access to car for work purposes

 

Responsibilities

  • Personal care

  • Getting washed and dressed

  • Preparing meals;

  • Light household tasks

  • Taking their medication


You’ll also be offering companionship, helping people build and retain confidence to live independently.

We have a number of shifts available on a fixed weekend shift pattern. Hours available are:

 

  • Fixed weekend early, 7am to 2:30pm

  • Fixed weekend late, 2:30pm to 10pm
