The role
As a Care Assistant with Cura Homecare, you will provide practical and emotional support to clients in their own homes, helping them live safely, comfortably, and independently.
This is a community-based role and requires travel between clients.
Key responsibilities include:
Supporting with personal care, including washing, dressing, toileting, and grooming
Assisting with meals, hydration, and nutrition
Supporting mobility and safe transfers
Medication support where trained and authorised
Promoting independence and emotional wellbeing
Maintaining accurate and timely care records
Building respectful, professional relationships with clients and their families

Training and experience
Previous care experience is welcomed but not essential. Full training is provided for suitable candidates, including induction, shadowing, and ongoing development.

Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
A caring, reliable, and professional attitude
The right to work in the UK
A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
Willingness to undertake training and follow care plans
Ability to work independently and responsibly
