Cura Homecare – Terms & Conditions
1. Introduction
These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) set out the basis on which Cura Homecare (Chippenham) Ltd (“we”, “us”, “our”) provides homecare services to you (“you”, “your”, “Service User”, “Client”). By accepting care services from us, entering into a Care Agreement, or allowing care to begin, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

2. Our Services
Cura Homecare provides regulated domiciliary care and support services designed to help individuals live safely and independently at home. Our services include (but are not limited to):
- Personal care and daily living support
- Specialist complex care
- Children’s care
- Companionship and wellbeing support
- Night care and respite
- Dementia, palliative and end-of-life care
All services are delivered in accordance with agreed Care Plans and relevant legislation.
3. Care Plans and Assessment
Before care begins, we will conduct a comprehensive assessment to identify your individual needs, preferences and goals. A Care Plan will be developed and agreed with you, and may include input from family members and healthcare professionals.
The Care Plan will be reviewed regularly and updated if your needs change.
4. Fees, Charges and Payment
Charges for services will be agreed with you before care starts and documented in your Care Agreement. You are responsible for ensuring that all fees are paid in accordance with the payment terms provided.
Where payment is not received as agreed, we reserve the right to suspend care until outstanding amounts are settled.
5. Changes and Termination
We reserve the right to amend these Terms with reasonable notice. Notice will be provided via email, post or in person.
Care may be terminated by either party in writing with at least 14 days’ notice, unless an immediate termination is necessary due to serious breach of contract, safety issues, refusal of access, or other urgent circumstances.
6. Your Responsibilities
By accepting care services, you agree to:
- Provide accurate and complete information about your care needs
- Inform us promptly of any changes in your health or circumstances
- Allow our staff agreed and safe access to your home
- Work with us to maintain a safe and secure environment
Failure to meet these responsibilities may result in changes to the Care Plan or suspension of services.
7. Confidentiality and Data Protection
We will treat all personal information in accordance with applicable data protection legislation, including UK GDPR. Your information will only be used to deliver and improve care services and will not be shared with third parties without consent, except where legally required or for your care.
8. Quality, Safety and Regulation
Cura Homecare is a regulated provider with the Care Quality Commission (CQC). This means our services are inspected and assessed against key standards of safety, effectiveness, caring, responsiveness and leadership.
You can find our registration details and inspection reports on the CQC website. We are committed to meeting and exceeding industry standards in every aspect of care.
9. Complaints and Feedback
We aim to deliver care of the highest quality. If you are unhappy with any aspect of our service, please raise your concern with us as soon as possible so that we can investigate and resolve it promptly.
A full Complaints Policy can be provided on request.
10. Liability
We will exercise reasonable care and skill in providing the services agreed with you. However, we are not liable for any loss, damage or claim arising from circumstances outside our control.
You are responsible for maintaining adequate insurance for your home and belongings where appropriate.
11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.
